Performance Opportunities

LTS values experience and therefore performance opportunities are an integral part of your course. This will help prepare you for your future career.

In addition to the LTS organised shows a range of employment opportunities occur and where they are of appropriate needs for training, students are encouraged and supported to take part, particularly where it enhances their development. The Principals and staff are always happy to advise on this issue. Such employment includes external shows, modelling, extra work, TV auditions and corporate events.

Work/holiday permission
Students will always be supported with work and employment opportunites and permission is granted if the work is deemed to advance the student's development and not disrupt their training. Students are not allowed to audition for or take part in any amateur or professional television, film or theatre production during their course without the prior permission of the Principal. Holidays must not be taken during term time.

Musical Theatre 3 year course

LTS will look after your career interests seeking appropriate audition and employment opportunities.

During the first and second year you will perform 2 in-house productions plus one external production.

The third year is dedicated to making the final preparation for your career and involves rehearsals and performances, 4 external production - a Play, a Musical and then culminating in a showcase in Merseyside and then the West End.

Performers Musical Theatre 1 year course
Students will participate in 3 in-house productions a year: one in-house and one external production.
